This feeds a real good 2 desserts. If you make double, find a much bigger tray.
5g usable carbs per serving.
3 egg whites (I do use the frozen Ready Whites)
8 Splenda tablets crushed
1/2 cup well whipped cream, with a couple of drops of liquid sweetener
1/2 cup strawberries, measure then slice
Wattle or Poppy seeds (optional)
Extra 6--7 Splenda tablets, crushed
Set oven to 350F. Cover swiss roll tray with bake paper (parchment?).Whip
egg whites till nearly at merengue texture. Slowly add Splenda.
Spread egg white mix over paper and bake about 10 mins till lightly browned.
Remove from oven (this keeps it from rising and getting crisp). Let sit for
a couple of minutes. Turn onto another piece of bake paper sprinkled with
the 'extra' crushed tablets.
When almost cool, spread whipped cream over pavlova. Cover with sliced
strawberries. Pick up corner of paper and gently roll up. Place in fridge
