According to the 2002, Dietary Reference Intakes (DRI), the recommended dietary allowance (RDA) for carbohydrates is based on the average minimum amount of glucose used by the brain. The carbohydrate RDA is 130 grams per day. You can always limit your intake of carbohydrates once you have met the RDA for carbohydrates.
